Free Food Distribution Event – Supporting Families During the Government Shutdown

We understand that the ongoing government shutdown has deeply affected many families in our community.

To help ease the burden, Chefs4Kids Fund will be hosting a Free Food Distribution event for those in need.

Date: Sunday, November 16, 2025

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Location: 2812 Franklin St, Alexandria, VA 22306

Our team will be distributing fresh meals and essential food supplies to families impacted by the shutdown.

No registration is required—just come by, and our volunteers will be happy to assist you.

Together, we can make sure no family goes hungry during these difficult times.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to serve the community of Managbokai, Liberia, in Africa. Our team provided nourishing meals to families in need and offered dental cleanings to children who required care.

Help Feed Ukrainian refugee women and children!

I am Chef Christian Canales, founder of Chefs4KidsFund.org. We are happy to announce that Chefs for kids are going back to Poland and Ukraine beginning December 4 th – 11 th 2022. We will be feeding Ukrainian women, the elderly, and children in Rzeszow Poland. Also, will bring much needed food supplies to L’viv Ukraine. The devastating outbreak of war in Ukraine has driven millions of people from their homes and now the consequences of the conflict are spreading a wave of hunger among the most vulnerable. More than 4.5 million people have now fled Ukraine, the majority of whom are women and children. More are coming every day. Children on the move, many separated from parents, are especially vulnerable to hunger, illness, and abuse.
